firefox hangs on loading the given page. A Script does not respond message appears... if I click on "stop script", it stops and cpu usage does down. If I don't computer still hangs.

Sorry, can't confirm this. Indeed it is a kind of evil page which takes a while to load, >30 secs for me. After the page is loaded, CPU usage is a few percent only. 
Checked with Minefield own build 2007072800. VC8 Express and Windows XP
