There should be a way to share/give an add-on to a specific friend.

I attempted to do this via message and wall post attachments, but due to 2 bugs with FBML, the feature can't be added yet.

Currently waiting on those 2 bugs to be fixed on Facebook's side:
1) <select> fields are not passed along to the hidden url
2) <fb:name uid="profileowner" /> does not work from the wall post attachment box (if the first bug was fixed, we could work around this)

If Facebook isn't fixing this bug, we'll find a workaround and it will be unpleasant!

This bug still exists, but in addition to the message/wall post attachment method,  I am considering something similar to the invite tool where someone can select a bunch of friends to send an add-on request/invitation to.

After further consideration, I'm not going to try to find a way around the Facebook bug. Moving to TM:Future and when the bug is fixed it can be re-assessed for the current milestone at the time.

The Facebook bug was finally fixed, and this functionality is now ready to be turned on in production after some minor code changes that are visible on staging now.

Stephen: the two points to test are in writing a message and writing a wall post.

OK; I've tested and verified both as working on the staging instance; sorry for the delay!

I've flagged as needing in-litmus, and will get around to it and the other bug in a few days (but that shouldn't hold us from shipping 0.6).
