I can't reopen Thunderbird after I close it.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.6 Several problems, once I close Thunderbird I cannot reopen it without going to Windows Task Manager Processes and closing "thunderbird.exe". Also I get a wide blank band with a lone red "^" on the left hand side. I also can't open my mail in a separate window by double clicking or left clicking and selecting "open in a new window" This is a new problem. Thunderbird and always been ok in the past. My only change was reinstall of McAfee suite which I was running before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Thunderbird 2.Close Thunderbird 3.double Thunderbird icon Actual Results: The sandglass appears for a second the nothing. Expected Results: Thunder should reopen

Until someone comes along with better help than mine... - work your way through this process http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Thunderbird - If that doesn't help fix and no one else comments here, then you might quicker results in a support forum - http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/forums Please report back with your results - don't leave the bug hanging open :) Your response will help resolve the bug.

Extension problem, no doubt. Try disabling all add-ons.
