location bar draws white just after deleting a character.

Oh, wait, was my summary change correct? I assumed you meant the dropdown, but maybe you meant the url bar itself?
asa, this is what I saw on your macbook pro today.

chatting with mconnor today, I think one proposed solution / workaround is,
when deleting, don't open up the autocomplete results until you start typing.

note, after the pending rich list autocomplete change, there might be another
solution.
OS: Mac OS X → All
Hardware: PC → All
Bug 424673 would make results come back immediately and not have things flash.

I can not reproduce this issue on Firefox 48.0a1. I will close this issue as WFM. Please reopen and post detailed steps if you can still reproduce.
