I hope this belongs here. 3.0b1 under PPC OSX.4

I have a mailbox in a tab. I open messages as more tabs.
The messages appear as blanks. Source reveals do work.

When I switch back to the mailbox tab, it too is blank, but I can recover it by waving the cursor around, i.e. repainting.

Meta bugs can't block.  I've triaged the dependent bugs and marked the appropriate ones as blocking.  People adding depends in the future should nominate those dependents to block, if appropriate.

now that we have a tab component the value of this bug diminishes somewhat, but still useful.  name alias to tabmeta

Does anyone wish to see this meta stay open?
Most of the important bugs blocking this meta have been resolved, and we have a tabs component in bugzilla that collects the remainder.

Wasn't the aim to have bug centralized in a place to keep backlog all together and go forward in a consistent way while doing UI/UX updates ?
If that is better done another way, or because of new resources, then go. If not, it might still be useful in my opinion.

Indeed, I believe this meta bug predates the tab component.
