User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.6 (20070728) Shift+Ctrl+Click on a list with selected items, should unselect items from focused item to clicked item Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. thunderbird on a folder with a number of items in a list 2. select all 3. ctrl-click an item (unselects) 4. ctrl-shift-click an item a bit lower (should un-select all items from item in step 3 to item clicked here) Actual Results: all items from item in step 3 to item in step 4 are selected Expected Results: items from item in step 3 to item in step 4 should be unselected

Can confirm the reported behaviour, not sure if that's a bug. Do other programs do that?

Just adding my two cents to elaborate: I believe this is related to something along these lines: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448291 which appears to have been fixed in a recent upgrade. (sorry for the lack of info here-- this bug which I reported was never queued, and yet the issue is gone)
