User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6 At the bottom of the screen, there is a grey bar that is like the one mentioned when add-ons cause problems, but above the "^" it says "<menuitem". While I did follow your instructions, by gradually turning off my add-ons, and seeing if they need to be upgraded, neither suggestion worked. However, in safe mode without addons the bar did disappear. I now notice that it has made it harder for Firefox to process videos. The error console also mentions many warnings, especially about google and youtube. I don't have the problematic google products installed, however, and do not have google toolbar instaled. Unfortuneatly, that is all that I know. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Unknown 2. 3. Actual Results: screen with grey bar, slow videos, and many errors Expected Results: Full screen, normal video load time, and little, if no, errors. Bug does occur with default theme. No bar in add-on free mode, though add-ons do appear in working condition.

Does the problem also occur if you download and unzip Firefox on your desktop and start it from there? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/tinderbox-builds/pacifica-vm-mozilla1.8/firefox-2.0.0.7pre.en-US.win32.zip

If there's an extension running somewhere, I assume you should see the information in the files extensions.ini and extensions.rdf in your profile. You can open the files with a text editor. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder

This may be a bug in Java Runtime update if you are on a Traditional Chinese locale. If so then Sun has a fix in JRE 6 update 2. Please try installing it from http://www.java.com/zh_TW/download/windows_xpi.jsp?begindownload=true Obviously don't do that if you aren't on a Chinese build ;)
