using opt comm bits on winNT, 2000.05.17.09.

to repro:
1. enter http://www.amazon.com in urlbar, hit enter to load page.
2. after above has loaded, enter http://my.netscape.com into urlbar (hit enter
to load page).

result: my.netscape.com starts to load --then the browser crashes. all the time.
