You need to follow the directions outlined at http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/getting-cvs-write-access.html, which include attaching your SSH public key, getting two vouchers, and submitting a completed CVS Contributor Form (http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/form.html). Since I'm guessing this is for NSS, no super-reviewer is required. Can you confirm that this request is indeed for NSS?

You also have a mercurial account just in case you need to checkin there.  Your e-mail address is your username for Hg.

When I try to add [e-mail] to the list of NSS module peers 
on despot.mozilla.org, I get this error message:

There was a typo in the username in Despot. I have corrected the typo and sent Steve a new Despot password. You should be able to add [e-mail] to the NSS module now.

I added [e-mail] to the write access list for the NSS partitions,
formally known as "security" (NSS trunk) and "NSS Stable Release Branch".
