Right now, if you for example use the /pref commands to change the log folder to something that doesn't make sense, you'll get nice error messages when joining channels and such (assuming logging is on):

[ERROR] Internal error dispatching command “join”.
[ERROR] NS_ERROR_FILE_UNRECOGNIZED_PATH: Component returned failure code: 0x80520001 (NS_ERROR_FILE_UNRECOGNIZED_PATH) [nsILocalFile.initWithPath] @ <chrome://chatzilla/content/lib/js/utils.js> 1003

So... I was thinking we should probably add pref listeners to the logging-related prefs and make them do sanity checks, and give a bit of a better warning to the user if something doesn't work, possibly with the option to browse folders using a dialog (which would be safer against user error than manually entering paths).
WONTFIX-ing this now that these are no longer in prefs, and users won't shoot themselves in the foot so much.
