this is a request to create mozilla.dev.l10n.es newsgroup and gatewayed mail, google group as we recently set up for India

axel has plans for starting some discussion on how es-ES and es-AR localization teams could better leverage each others work

pascal is working on some es localization team and community building

I'm headed to mexico in a few weeks to start some discussion on if an es-MX version of firefox makes sense.

it would be good to set up a group where we could point people at to participate in these discussions and get involved.
I'm not too eager to support this, at least ad hoc. Right now, none of the Spanish localizers or candidates thereof picked up the thread I opened on .l10n, and commented in bugzilla instead. We should make this a people decision, once the dust settles a bit on the various team(part)s.
Chris, Axel: is there still interest in this?

Gerv
AFAICT, this got duped by http://www.mozilla-hispano.org/. Pascal?
yes, now that we have mozilla hispano with forums+mailing lists and key contributors from all es-* locales, I don't think that there is still a need for an es usenet group.
WORKSFORME, then.
