User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7

When one or more tabs are loading, I am unable to view any other tabs until it is done and then some (which means I even have to wait a short time AFTER it's done completely loading before I am able to view any other tabs. If by chance I am able to view another tab, I am unable to scroll, type or use the other tab in any way until the one is done loading.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open 3 or more tabs
2.either from the address bar or right click, open a new tab
3.While that tab is loading try to click one of the first one's you opened.
Actual Results:
unable to click any tabs other then the one that is loading. Long, long wait time before I can do ANYTHING with the other tabs.

Expected Results:
I remember a day, oh perhaps about a month ago, when I could jump from tab to tab with ease while waiting for other tabs to load. That's my expected result.

Have you installed any addons that could be slowing this down? Trying safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode , disables all addons) or a new profile (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_Firefox_profile_on_Windows , resets all settings to default temporarily) would be a good idea.
I'm sure there is already a bug out there which handles that problem but I cannot find it at the moment.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

I reported this a long time ago and future updates had fixed the problem. Although I want it to be known I ALWAYS stay up to date with Firefox.
