402092 - update palmsync from Palm CDK 4 to CDK 6

follow up from bug 322568 comment 27 and in the footsteps of bug 214407 ...

Update to Palm's CDK 6 at some future date. New Features:

Note however there is currently no compelling reason** to go to CDK 6 (if you know of any please comment) and there are negative aspects to spending time on it:
* manpower should probably be focused on diagnosing and fixing existing palmsync bugs, some of them serious, before tackling this CDK change
* patches made to CDK 6 based palmsync on trunk might not be directly applied to CDK 4 based branch builds.


** I may have read somewhere CDK 6 may enable syncing of additional Treo fields, but no longer have the reference.  If anyone knows sync capability is being limited due to the use of CDK 4 please comment.

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
