I am currently moderator of a bunch of newsgroups. For the following newsgroups, I basically delete my moderator notifications, since all I'd ever do with them is discard all the pending requests. As such, these newsgroups should probably become "unmoderated" to get the behaviour described above:

  dev-apps-firfeox@lists.mozilla.org
  dev-themes@lists.mozilla.org
  dev-usability@lists.mozilla.org
  feedback-thunderbird-prerelease@lists.mozilla.org
  feedback-firefox-prerelease@lists.mozilla.org
  feedback-firefox@lists.mozilla.org
  feedback-thunderbird@lists.mozilla.org
  feedback-companion-ebay@lists.mozilla.org

As long as it doesn't open the floodgates for spam, I don't mind how it works :-) Reassigning to Dave for implementation.

OK, these lists have been set to reject any mail from non-subscribers, but I left you listed as the moderator. This should cut down drastically on the amount of mail you get about it, and make it manageable for you to actually deal with it. I finally got the rest of the "list-admin"-owned lists switched over in the last 2 days, and I'm already noticing the improved size of my list-admin mailbox. :)

If you really want to give up moderator status as well, let me know, but hopefully you'll find it manageable now.
