404791 - Need MDC database dump to give to Deki folks

We need a dump of the MDC database that we can hand over to the MindTouch guys so they can use it to work on writing their MediaWiki->Deki converter tool.  We need to mask out private user information (email addresses at least) before we hand it off.

I don't know exactly how to get the database dump myself.  I can do the masking of the content myself once I have the dump.  Could someone get that for me, or provide instructions and the necessary access to do it myself?

Ideally we'd get this done today.

You can get this off of sm-devmo01 that was set up for you in Bug 380177.  Directory is /mnt/database_dumps

So, you need to strip e-mail addresses, passwords, and any other user-identifying information (including IP addresses) before you send this to a third-party company, or you will be in violation of Mozilla's privacy policy (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/privacy-policy.html).

Yes, that's why I say that I need to mask out private user information in my original request. :)

When I log into that server, I get permission denied trying to access that
directory.  I logged in using my LDAP username.

You have sudo access, so you can do 'sudo -s' to get root or 'sudo command foo'.
