After upgrading my GTK library, I'm unable to reproduce the issue. See bug 404112, comment 9. Should be this bug as "invalid", "worksforme" or "duplicate"?.
Upgrading the GTK library the problem vanishes, but the theme is very ugly, and firefox asks for the "qtengine" (I'm a KDE user). Compiling and installing the "qt-engine" I get a correct theme but... the radio button issue reappears. I guess my graphic toolkit doesn't support transparent radio buttons. I'm a KDE 3.4.2 user...
My QT version is 3.3.4. I upgrade (painfully, backup blessing) to QT 3.3.8, but the radio buttons are not transparent yet. I'm losing graphical integrity in my system. Better to recover my backup now and wait for some useful suggestion :-( Please, suggestion welcomed!.
