Found on Firefox 3.0 beta 1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.make sure you have confugured firefox to hide the tab bar, if only one page is open
2.make sure only one page is open
3.open a new tab: watch how the tab bar is displayed. scroll buttons are shown on the left and right side for a short time. then they vanish.

These buttons cause the tabs to "jump".
This seems to be a regression introduced in Firefox 3.x.
Summary: tab bar opens with scroll buttons (tabs are "jumping") → regression: tab bar opens with scroll buttons (tabs are "jumping")
works for me - Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b2pre) Gecko/2007113004 Minefield/3.0b2pre ID:2007113004
Yes, 3.0b2pre is not affected by this bug. But it is full of other problems.
Should this bug be closed in this case?
Fixed in 3.0b2rc1.
