I did not find this bug in bugzilla so I'm opening new one. I'm using Lightning under Thunderbird with remote calendar, however my alarm never pops up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Schedule an event
2. Wait until the correct time
3. Nothing happens
Actual Results:
No alarm

Expected Results:
Show alarm box regarding my event.
Confirmed it's not working on fresh installation. It's a bug.
What type of remote calendar do you use? ICS, CalDAV, WCAP, Google, etc.?

Have you set an alarm on the event? Is the alarm still set after reloading the event from the server? Does the Error Console shows any related messages?
ICS file.

No errors in the console. Yes, I tried to set different time for the alarm, no effect. Yes the alarm is there after realoading the ics file from the remote server.

Any way to debug that?
> Any way to debug that?

Yes. Set/create the advanced boolean preference "javascript.options.showInConsole" and "calendar.debug.log" to true and restart Sunbird. This should produce additional information from the alarm service in the Error Console.

Just in case: Have you enabled "Show an alarm box" in Sunbirds preference dialog?
Yes, I've enabled the dialog.

However, after I've reinstalled my system my can't reproduce this anymore :(

I will re-open this bug if it happens again.

Thank you all.
