User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.10) Gecko/20071115 Firefox/2.0.0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8pre) Gecko/20071023 Sunbird/0.7 When I try to add an event to the calendar, the window opens, I fill in the necessary fields, click Save and Close and nothing happens. I use the red X to close the window, it asks if I want to save, I answer yes, nothing is saved. When Sunbird initially opens, all events/holidays are displayed. If I scroll to the next or previous month, no events/holidays show there. If I scroll back to the current month, all events/holidays are gone there also. This did not happen on my previous XP machine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to add event, and save. Fails to save or close window. 2.Scroll forward or back in calendar, no events/holidays are visible anymore. 3. Profile was copied from my XP machine. Is this improper? That was Sunbird 0.7 also. Actual Results: See above Expected Results: Expected window to save and close normally. Did not expect events/holidays to disappear after scrolling ahead or back a month.

Please do not set the blockin 0.8+ flag. Only release drivers are allowed to do this

Are you using local or remote calendar? Is there any error in console?

A local calendar. Where do I find that console?

Yes. There are errors. Local calendar only. Here are the errors I see listed: Error: item.endDate has no properties Source File: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Sunbird/components/calStorageCalendar.js Line: 1535 Error: Assert failed: [Exception... "'[JavaScript Error: "item.endDate has no properties" {file: "file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Sunbird/components/calStorageCalendar.js" line: 1535}]' when calling method: [calICalendar::getItems]" nsresult: "0x80570021 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JAVASCRIPT_ERROR_WITH_DETAILS)" location: "JS frame :: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Sunbird/components/calCompositeCalendar.js :: anonymous :: line 392" data: yes] 1: ASSERT 2: 3: getItems 4: refreshEventTree 5: prepareCalendarUnifinder Source File: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Sunbird/js/calUtils.js Line: 684 The first one shows up most often. (Line 1535) Dave
We have been completely unable to reproduce this error, would you mind trying out the latest 0.8 RC build and seeing if the error still occurs? Thanks for your help. You can get the build here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/nightly/0.8-candidates/rc1/

Dave, does the issue still exists using Sunbird 0.8? In case this is really caused by a broken profile I'd recommend to export all calendars to iCalendar format, create a new profile and import the backups.
