Dear friends,

many of the textareas at « format=guided » have only a few lines.
« Details » shows the scroll bars when the 8th line is reached
« format=guided » shows the scroll bars when the 10th line is reached

This is not very much if some complex issues are reported.

enhancement request:

Please provide resizable textareas in « format=guided ».

I think you can do such thing with customizing templates for each bugzilla site.

The guided bug entry form is going to be removed from the core Bugzilla code (see bug 474086), so we won't be fixing these bugs in upstream Bugzilla. It was always just an example page, to begin with. I'm moving the bugs to the bmo component, to at least preserve a record of the fact that these things may need to be fixed for bmo.

There are Firefox extensions which can make every text area resizable for you :-) I think they are a fine size given the target audience. Making them bigger makes the page longer and more intimidating.
