At a lower level of zoom it _appears_ (though, it's hard to tell) to use the Vista sized Minefield icon. At higher zoom levels the icon is definitely a non-Vista sized Firefox.

What do you mean by "the nightly vista-sized icon"? What are you zooming?

On Windows 7, when choosing the "extra large icons" view, the Mozilla-provided icons including the Minefield icon and the updater and crash reporter icons are smaller than proper extra large icons. IE8 and Safari have proper extra large icons. (This also leaks to the Mac OS X side when using Windows 7 under Parallels Coherence. That's how I noticed that the Minefield icon is too small.) Is this a new issue of a manifestation of this bug?

Bug 433688 is the same bug about file icons.

The minefield icon currently only has the Windows XP set of sizes. This will be corrected in a month or so when we completely refresh the minefield icon.
