422829 - add 'set as bookmarks toolbar folder' option to places/library

just kinda revert Bug 408938 and rather establish the behavior of Fx2 (correctly):

- any custom folder in bookmarks can be used as toolbar folder with the 'set as bookmarks toolbar folder' option
- so the folder (i.e. bookmark toolbar entry) does not need to show up as root entry in bookmarks menu
- if users want the folder in root they can place them there on their own
- this behavior would accomplish https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408938#c14

thoughts? (wontfix/invalid...)

The only thing I would support is a bookmark option of "Show on Toolbar" or similar, per Opera.  This would mean those not showing the toolbar aren't forced to scroll to a folder named toolbar, well, they don't have one.  I would also be a little more intuitive and wouldn't need all items copied in the bookmarks toolbar, aswell as filed elsewhere in a specific folder.  I think that's in part what your suggesting but I'm not sure.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
