justdave says: [Thu Mar 13 18:23:39 2008] fatal: couldn't open /data/mxr-data/seamonkey/mozilla/browser/themes/winstripe/browser/page-livemarks-aero.png at lib/LXR/Common.pm line 996, <CONFIG> line 121.
The fact that the call to glimpse behind the scenes is returning a non-zero result but no extra output (which would have appeared on the page along with Search Failed is pointing to a problem with how glimpse is running.

Need to manually run one of the glimpse calls to check if it's glimpse or the index and I don't have access to that box.
Found the problem.... glimpsindex obviously sucks at error reporting during the indexing process.

I freed up disk space by removing the not-quite-completely-set-up-yet mozillasvn directory. The daily site-wide index rebuilds start in about 10 minutes anyway, so I'm not going to regenerate any by hand. All of the indexes on all of the source trees should be properly rebuilt at some point in the next 8 to 10 hours.

Guess we're going to have to track down some more disk space for this box if we want mozillasvn and mozilla-central on it.
I was going to say: wow, that's not a problem I've met before. but that's not true. When I ran out of space on timeless.justdave.net, the services there also started failing (but I didn't really investigate, I just made space).

this of course works on landfill:

justdave: so glimpseindex.log did not really complain?

the lxr and mxr searches from comment 0 now work fwiw.
The lxr and mxr searches from comment 0 produce the same results for me
as before, even with shift-reload (clearing cache)
This seems to work for me now.
