User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4

(For firefox 3 beta 4) When you have multiple tabs open with at least one that has the gmail inbox and you try to close the firefox window, the gmail screen will turn blank when you've clicked "no" in the multiple-tab-closing window. The only way to see the gmail page again is to refresh. This has only happened to gmail. This hasn't happened in firefox 2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log onto gmail and go to the inbox screen (or any other part of gmail)
2. Have a few more tabs open besides gmail.
3. Try to close the firefox window
4. The window that warns you about closing multiple tabs comes up.
5. Click no and look at the gmail tab. It will appear completely blank and white.
Actual Results:
Gmail page no longer appears.

Expected Results:
Just kept the gmail screen without any errors.

I'm using the default theme on firefox 3 beta 4. The extensions I have installed are: Adblock plus, download helper, Flagfox, and PDF download.
Summary: Gmail screen turns blank if you try to close the firefox window while it has multiple tabs → Gmail screen turns blank if you try to close the firefox (Firefox 3 beta 4) window while it has multiple tabs

I can verify this using on XP and OSX. It returns with a simple refresh of the page. It happens whether or not the tab is selected,
I can also confirm this not happening in Firefox2.
Confirmed reproducible in Firefox 3r4 in XP-SP2. Confirmed not happening in Firefox 2.
Also reproducible on my Ubuntu box in 3.0b4 , but doesn't occur in Firefox 2.
This bug is still present in Firefox 3 Beta 5 for Windows XP. I don't know if this is the same for other operating systems.

Bug still exist in FF3.0 final edition. It occurs only when having open gmail in one window and open second window/tab with gmail. FF crashes when try to close window or tab. Stack overflow reported - FF have 99% of CPU and memory usage growing up and up.
