This is the Flip4Mac plugin, right?

It should, yes. I talked with Carsten about this crash some days ago. He has an older version installed. Carsten, do you had time to upgrade the Flip4Mac version on your pc? With version 2.2 I cannot see this crash. Even after having a look at this website I cannot find an embedded object which uses Flip4Mac.

Click the speaker symbol next to "music:" at the top?

Oh, haven't seen this. Clicking on it starts playing a mid file in the background. In my case it is handled by quicktime. Carsten, could you try if Firefox crashes for you when opening this file? Which plugin is used on your side?

I forgot the URL: http://www.dhteumeuleu.com/sound/jbreas.mid

When I click the speaker symbol I get the "Additional plugin required..." and when I click "Install Missing Plugin" it suggests Flip4Mac. If I click the URL in comment 5 the QT plugin plays it, so there seems to be something else going on with clicking the speaker symbol... FYI, the sound on/off state is kept in a cookie. There are some scripts at: http://www.dhteumeuleu.com/sound-v6.js http://www.dhteumeuleu.com/index-v6.js?v=4 that seems to be involved with the click on the speaker symbol - I haven't debugged exactly what happens... is the sound file selected randomly?

Closing old bugs in the Plugins component. We aren't going to track issues in 3rd-party plugins in the Mozilla bug tracker. In addition, support for NPAPI plugins will be removed at the end of this year; for more details see the post at https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/ If there is a serious bug in Firefox, it needs to be filed in the "Core" product, "Plug-Ins" component.
