425365 - Problem with sending a mail with pasted text containg <img style="width: 0px;">

If I copy a text from the Google Desktop results and paste it into the message body textbox of a compose window, and then I click on Send, I get the error box: "Sending of message failed.
There was an error attaching. Please check if you have access to the file."

Actually I have no evident attached file.

If I click on the "Ok" the compose windows wait for several minutes before sending the message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do a Google Desktop search (I searched for an e.mail I had on the old outlook installation).
2. Select a portion of a result
3. Copy the text (Ctrl-C or RMB+Copy it's the same)
4. Click on the Write icon on Thunderbird to open a Compose window
5. fill-in a recipient (you may use your email address)
6. optionally fill-in a subject.
7. Click in the textbox for the body of the message and paste (either Ctrl-V or RMB+Paste)
8. Click on Send
9. The "HTML Mail Question" dialog will pop up. Select one of the three option, it doesn't care which, then click "Ok".
10. The "Send Message Error" will pop-up: "Sending of message failed.
There was an error attaching. Please check if you have access to the file".
11. Click on "OK"
Actual Results:  
At this point you are back to the "Compose" window. If you click on the "Send" icon again then the "HTML Mail Question" is asked again and once dismissed the mail is sent with no error.

Expected Results:  
The expected result is that the mail is sent at the first time without the "Send Message Error".

Moreover an error message should not refer to "attachments" if the user didn't attach anything explicitly.

I used the Thunderbird default settings.
The mail access protocol is IMAP.
The mail server is a Microsoft Exchange.

This is the message that I got by following the repro steps before hitting "Send". This file is obtained through File/Save As/File...

Confirmed, looks to be <img style="width: 0px;"> that is the problem.

But the error message for me is "There was a problem including the file http://about/ in the message" ...

Still repro (copied from attachment 311995 [details]).
