When I check fire fox as a default web browser it doesn`t work with yahoo massenger incomming mail "incomming mails open in Microsoft Internet Explorar "
not like Fire Fox V.2.0.0.13  .

A workaround is mentioned in Bug 237691, Comment 9.  Some additional test results are reported in Bug 237691, Comment 15.
From comment 15 in the other bug:

"A clean install of Windows XP Professional SP3 and clean install of FF3 (no
prior version of Firefox ever having been installed) did not update my registry
correctly when I selected it to be default. Forcing the default under 'Set
Program Access and Defaults' DID update the registry and resolved the Y!M
issue.

"A clean install of Windows XP Professional SP3 and clean install of
FF2.0.0.14 and Y!M launches Firefox without having to adjust 'Set Program
Access and Defaults' so it sure looks like a regression to me."

I know absolutely nothing about the Windows Registry, but hopefully someone involved in Firefox triage on Windows does. On the surface, this sure sounds like a legitimate bug to me.

Using Yahoo messenger for mac v3.0 voice and video fine depending on bandwidth 
- Works For Me


Incoming mails open in Yahoo mail - check your PC settings.

As you can see from this bug's description and from comment 2, this bug is Windows-only.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.x or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.
