User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13
Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.12 (20080213) Thunderbird, 0.8 Lightning

We use Thunderbird version 2.0.0.12 with the calendar extension lightning v0.7, connecting to a network calendar via calDEV on Scalix 11.3.

After updating to lightning v0.8, we can no longer view existing recurring appointments. When creating a new recurring appointment, it doesn't show up in the calendar either. New and old appointments with single occurances are viewable. Rolling back to v0.7 solves the issue.

This happens to multiple users and every time we update to v0.8

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the update for Lightning version 0.8
2. Restart Thunderbird

Actual Results:
The install completes fine. All existing recurring events and any new recurring events do not show up in the calendar, in any view.

Expected Results:
It should display the recurring events, both old and new.
This looks to be a lightning bug, not a Thunderbird bug. Moving product/component.

Upgrading to Scalix v11.4 will allow Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 with Lightening v0.8 and Sunbird v0.8 on Windows XP will work.
However on Solaris 10 x86, Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 and Lightening v.08 does not work but Sunbird v0.8 on Solaris 10 x86 does work. Lightening v0.8 on Solaris x86 generates the following error which Sunbird v0.8 does not.

Error: [Exception... Hi,

Have user feedback, there is a problem with Lightening and Sunbird v0.8 when an all day event is added over a number of days, for example Monday 26th May to Friday 30th May from Outlook, it appears correctly in the Scalix Web Interface but is a day short in Lightening v0.8 or Sunbird v0.8 .
Hi,

There is a problem with All Day Events created when running Scalix v11.3 they appear a day short in Lightening and Sunbird. However upgrading to Scalix v11.4 while fixing connectivity with Lightening and Sunbird also fixes the All Day Event problem to NEW events only not pre-existing ones.
What is the state of the problem reported in this bug? Does it work with Lightning/Sunbird 0.9 release builds and the latest Scalix server?
