User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080327 Camino/1.6b4 (like Firefox/2.0.0.13) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080327 Camino/1.6b4 (like Firefox/2.0.0.13) When opening a new blank page, the cursor should automatically be located in the Toolbar's Address Box. If the Toolbar is Hidden, please locate the cursor in the Address Box when the user selects View Toolbar. As an alternative, when the user presses the Tab key in the newly-opened blank page, the cursor should move to the Address Box without requiring the user to move their mouse to the address box and Click. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In General Preferences, uncheck both boxes for "Load home page when:". 2. Press either Command-T or Command-N to open a new blank page (either a tab or a new window). 3. Press Command-Shift-T to view the Toolbar. 4. The cursor is not located in the address box. It isn't located anywhere until you move your mouse to the Address Box and Click. Actual Results: The cursor is not located in the address box. It isn't located anywhere until you move your Mouse to the Address Box and Click. Expected Results: I always expect the cursor to be in the Toolbar's Address Box, but it is not. I have to move my Mouse up to the Address Bar and Click before the cursor appears and makes the Address Box Active. Please make the Address Box the Active Box in a new Window or new Tab, so that the Cursor appears in the Address Box and you can start typing immediately, without "mousing around". This is the only thing that bothers me about Camino 1.6b4. Otherwise, I like it very much! Thank you!
If you're browsing with the toolbar hidden, why not just use Cmd-L instead of showing the toolbar? This seems like a pretty extreme edge case....
Summary: New blank page should have cursor set in toolbar's address box. → New blank page should have cursor in location bar after showing toolbar

(In reply to comment #1) > This seems like a pretty extreme edge case.... I agree. I doubt more than two or three of our no-toolbar users ever show it at all, especially immediately after opening a blank page.

Just toggling the toolbar should not change focus, so this is WONTFIX. Tab chain issues are already covered by other bugs, and as noted above, Command-L works fine, so there's no requirement that you use your mouse.
