FireFox was working normal. After sometime, when I tried entering an URL in the address, I fount text was being entered in the reverse order.
for e.g if I type, http://abcdefghij.123.test.com, instead it is showing moc.tset.321.jihgfedcba//:ptth, just reverse of the text I entered.

This is happening not only in the address bar, but text boxes and text areas too having the same reverse-effect.

Restarting Firefox also doesn't help. Please help.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.I am not sure of the steps.
But I remember I opened Flash pages.
Have you tried:

- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems
- a new profile
- a reinstall in a new empty folder?

and do you have the latest plug-in versions?
All,
Reboot solved the problem.

Yes, I have the latest plug-in versions.

i think i found one way to reliably reproduce this bug.

1) go to maps.google.com

2) click the print button

3) leave the window (the print friendly one) open, as well as the print dialog

4) go to to any text entry point and type

i used the search box in the upper left and a window in gtalk

closing the print dialog returns normal operation

this was done on ff3.0, windows XP sp2

i have a gtalk window open, and a window that uses google maps, as well as a tab running pandora raido (pandora.com) in addition to the window i used above to cause the bug.
could this be some sort of overflow encountered with flash?
i don't have the time to test it more fully right now.
