User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; da; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; da; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 In older versions I could remove the autocomplete=off with a snippet. Firefox then asked to remember information where it wouldn't have done so before, it would even show up automatically when refreshed. Now I have to either choose the username from a dropdown box (password will appear then) or write the username (password will appear then). Snippet: http://durgaprasad.files.wordpress.com/2006/09/bookmarklet.txt Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit any site which has autocomplete=off forms (Yahoo! mail for example) 2. Run js snippet 3. Enter informations and proceed 4. Re-visit the site Actual Results: Information is not autocompleted as in previous versions but either has to be chosen from a dropdown box, where the password will auto-appear, or re-write the username, where the password will auto-appear. Expected Results: As it has always been. Auto-fill those boxes. I know autocompletes will be put into a dropdown box when more usernames are applied. But this is for one username per site. Clearing everything (remebered passwords, cache, etc.) does not fix it. Removing the passwords from "remember passwords" in the options does not fix it as well.

Right, and how can I override it?

Use the bookmarket to enable saving the login (as before), and select it manually as you described in comment 0. There is no override.
