If I select multiple messages for deletion and click the delete button, the count in the deleted box is 1 fewer than the number of transferred messages. The same happens if I mark messages as spam - the number in the Junk folder is 1 fewer than the trensferred messages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a number of messages in the Inbox
2. Click the Delete button
3. The count of items in the Deleted folder is incremented by 1 fewer than the number of messages transferred

I have seen this over many versions
WFM in version 3.0a2pre (2008060803) WinXP
Similar things used to happen to me earlier when my profile got corrupted.

So.
1. is it possible to attach a screen shot
2. can you create a new PROFILE and test it again

PS: GMAIL provide free SMTP/POP account, you can create a dummy GMAIL account for testing if you dont want to use your regular email

I realise now that using the default time for marking messages as read, messages are marked as read when they are selected. The count is for unread messages. I have now set a delay for marking messages as read.

It is still confusing but now I understand what is happening.
