User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

When I log in to my work email account I enter my user name and password. I then hit the OK button. I am able to enter my account with ease. Once in though, if I select messages to delete, I have the password box pop up and I have to hit OK for each message I delete. If I go to send a message to someone, I have to hit the OK button about 10 times just to send a message. This does not happen in FF2, IE6 or IE7, nor Opera 9.5. This does happen on both the Windows XP and Linux versions of Firefox Beta 5, RC1, and RC2.

The software that is used for the email web page is Microsoft Outlook Web Access connecting to an Exchange 2003 server.

Only people that work at the school have an email address.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Login
2.Delete a message or try to send a message
Actual Results:
You will either get a password box for each message deleted, or about 10 password box to send a message to any number of people.

Expected Results:
Multiple Password boxes will pop up, the number depending on what you are doing.

The password box should only pop up when you login, after that everything should be automatic.
Very similar on password protected areas on Webpages....

For example we do have a protected area where Pictures of another protected area are used...
In FF2, IE you have to provide the password for the first protected area and then ONCE for the second (that delivers pictures and so long). In FF3 you get a password request for every ressource that should be delivered by the second area... Depends on the implemented ressources, in worst case it freezes up the whole Browser..
Yes, this is a bit of a mess. I am wondering if it is intentional that it comes up more than once.

I have the same bug on the following configuration:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090922 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Shiretoko/3.5.4pre

I don't have the deli.cio.us plugin (mentioned in the Bug 469279).

The bug is reproducible every time by opening the browser with tabs from the previous session using password saving. One prompt for master password pops up for each tab containing a saved password.
This sounds like a mix of bug 475053 and bug 499233.
