User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14
Build Identifier: Firefox 3.0

Login to gmail, open a message, and click on the "More Actions" dropdown list. This causes the window to flash once, as if the entire window is attempting to redraw itself, which is really annoying.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to gmail
2. open a message
3. click on the "More Actions" dropdown list
Actual Results:
the window contents flashes once

Expected Results:
the dropdown list should appear, while the rest of the window contents remains unchanged

I was using gmail in the third of three tabs
