Printing this site (http://magazin.c-plusplus.de/artikel/Pointer%20in%20C(PlusPlus)) to PDF is incomplete: on pages 3 - 6 there is no text between the code-blocks. Printing to pdf the same site in 2.0.14 gives a perfect result.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to http://magazin.c-plusplus.de/artikel/Pointer%20in%20C(PlusPlus)
2. command + p (or File -> Print)
3. leave everything unchanged
4. select PDF -> Save as PDF
5. check the result.

Actual Results:
The resulting PDF is incomplete.

Expected Results:
The PDF has the same content as the site.

It's actually a bit stranger than you report -- on page 2 (of the pdf
file) you can see bits of text below and to the right of the code
block, but the text directly below has disappeared.

It also happens on Linux (choosing "Print to File" and "PDF" in the
Print dialog). For that matter it also happens printing to a
PostScript file (on Linux). (I'm running Kubuntu 7.10.)

It doesn't happen with FF2.

For the record, I did 'wget -m' on this bug's URL (to save a copy). But even zipped up it's almost 4MB -- probably too big to upload here.
You are right, I'm sorry for being imprecise.
On Mac OS, I see only some artifacts left hand below the code blocks. When I change the orientation to landscape there is also some text right hand.

But there are several exceptions (eg. on page 7 of the pdf, portrait) the paragraph below the code block is ok.

Print to ps also yields the same result on Mac Os.
The page looks mostly fine in Nightly 37.0a1 (2014-12-04) on Linux.
I see on problem, when a code example is split by a page break,
the line number for a line is sometimes on the next page.
For example, the second example in chapter 2:
"7 public:"
is printed as
" public:"
(new page)
"7"

Can someone make a small testcase for that?

Hi,

Build ID 20160224030246
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Build ID 20160210153822
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0

I have tested this issue on the latest Firefox release (44.0.2) and the latest Nightly (47.0a1) and it is not reproducible anymore. I have printed to PDF, examined the pages and found no line spacing issues.
Considering this I will mark this as Resolved-Worksforme. If you still encounter this issue in the future, please feel free to reopen this bug.

Thanks,
Cipri
