440376 - Drag and drop from "Contacts" pane to already populated address text field causes problems

If you drag addresses from "Contacts" pane and you drop them in the same "To" field then no comma is added and mail is sent to the last recipient only - the rest is treated as the last recipient's name.

I just tested on 2.0.0.14 and 3.0a2pre ID:2008061803
-if select several contacts and drag at once, seams ok, adds commas. So i cannot immediately reproduce.(on 3 is even better on a second drag split to separate to)
!-if drag one by one, it allows me to drop the contact wherever I place the cursor, in the middle of the already there contact or at the end with no comma

[also, tb2 does not propose a new to field when hovering/dropping with a second dragged contact (like when you click in a dummy row under to..)which seams solved in tb 3]

How do you do that? Drag one by one or ctrl click several and drag?

I'd say it's a bug, at least for TB2 as for 3 is already a bit better at dragging (proposes a field ..)

one solution is to not permit dragging of contacts into already populated address text fields.  

easy workaround - works peachy dragging onto any To: tab/button - so sev=minor

Seams first to think of. Could be related as solution to other comma separated issues, bug 440410, bug 440370, bug 345995 or bug 356032 (bug 440410 same),

only on TB3. It was actually reported on 2 where you can only drag if already a empthy to created (by click). But I'll consider it for "trunk" where improvements show already.

thought so, that's why I got it confirmed. But just checking..

Dragging one by one to the same To field, they get plonked to a new To field. Closing as WFM.
