On a page with a password field at the bottom and at least 2 textfields above it, the username is saved from the uppermost textfield, even if there is other info in it (e.g.: the real name, even spotted on this webpage).
If a password is saved the autofill fills the password correctly, but the username is written in the field directly above it, even if it is another field (e.g.: parameters).

No, the username field is always assumed to be the first textfield before the password field. (It might not look that way on some pages, if CSS or table layout makes the fields appear in a different order).

Not much can be done about this, form filling is an inherently imperfect task.
