KillerBOY came into irc and provided this example.

In Firefox 2, if you go to the URL http://qjuh.eu/Kroatien-Türkei.png the address bar converts this into http://qjuh.eu/Kroatien-T%FCrkei.png and the image loads.

In Firefox 3, http://qjuh.eu/Kroatien-Türkei.png remains as http://qjuh.eu/Kroatien-Türkei.png in the address bar and the image does not load.

I do not know what the expected behaviour is. Certainly Opera 9.5 doesn't like the link, and Gonhidi on irc suggests %FC by itself may not be a valid UTF-8 character. However, since this is a regression from Firefox 2 I file this bug anyway in hope of a definitive answer, and to prevent something perhaps slipping through the net.
Closing as Incomplete because the provided url's are no longer valid. If anyone can see this issue on a recent Firefox build, fell free to reopen the bug and provide test url's.
