Links appear as ordinary text, not as links in the body of an email sent in Hotmail through Firefox.

I have a similar problem, only in Windows XP. Any links that I SEND out from Hotmail in Firefox appear as standard text, not a link. They cannot be "clicked" on by the recipient and they are not underlined and do not change color. I do not have this problem if I send mail in IE. However, this is a problen ONLY with a link that I copy and paste or manually type. There is no problem with a Received link if I forward the link.
Ditto above.  This only just started recently (today?), I think.  I am using Firefox instead of I.E. and don't wish to switch back!
I ran across a "fix" for this a few months back. Position your cursor in the body of the new email where you want the link to be pasted and click there. Then click on the "insert hyperlink" icon (the little green ball and chain) under the subject box. It is to the left of the "emoticon" icon. When you click on the green ball, a box will open up. Get rid of the "http://" and paste your link in it's place. Click on "OK" and the pasted link will appear in the body of the email. 
Now you should have what you want.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

Also, please consider using the most recent Firefox 4 beta build, your bug may be resolved there.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
