Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open file *.xpi
2. Click on install
3.
Component: Software Update → Extension/Theme Manager
QA Contact: software.update → extension.manager
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
Are you still seeing this? What error did installing give? After installing could you check in the error console (tools menu) for any errors.

Also please can you attach copies of extensions.log, extensions.ini, extensions.cache and extensions.rdf from your profile folder to this bug report. If some of them don't exist let me know.

I have updated to firefox 3.0 which forced me to search for ff3 versions of the addons.
So are you still seeing this? If so please can you provide the details asked for in comment 1.
Errors are only when trying to install, not when using firefox. As I said in last mail I use FF 3.0 and not 2.0.0.15. Just try webdeveloper. http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/
Can you elaborate on what you mean by that, and please provide the details I asked for in comment 1.
I can't. See comment 2 & 4.
I do not understand what you mean. Do you mean that because you have updated to Firefox 3 you no longer see the issue?
YES!!!
Thank you. Closing this as incomplete since there is not enough information to be able to determine what the problem was here.
