If you double click the small (approx. 4 pixel) bar separating the web page and tabs a new tab will open.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open multiple tabs.
2. Double click the small bar between the web page and the tabs.
3. Watch a new tab open...
Actual Results:
A new tab opened.

Expected Results:
Nothing.

Occurs in all themes, only change I made to this Firefox 3 install is a few changes in About:Config concerning pipelining.
Version: unspecified → 3.0 Branch
I'm not sure this is necessarily a bad thing. It allows me to open a new tab through double-clicking even when the tab strip has been filled.
I never meant to say it was bad, just something they should know in case they didn't want it.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100308 Namoroka/3.6.2pre
Able to open a new tab by clicking on the same bar separating the web page and tabs bar.
This is still the tabbar. It's not a different toolbar. The element in the background of the tabs is called tabstrip and it handles click events whereever you click.

Dao, can we wontfix that?
