Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit any website 2. Visit a previously unvisited site 3. Bookmark site #2 This results in the bookmark being recorded as site #1 Expected Results: Bookmark should be the new site, not the one previously visited.

the given informations are not sufficent: * try bookmarking in safe-mode: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode if it works, please investigate your extensions one-by-one * you can also try creating a new profile for testing: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox if all is working fine again, please close this bug report as WORKSFORME

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
