Argyllcms-1.0.1 was released recently. The author claims that it
is faster than littlecms. The license is GPLv3 and the license for
some of the included libraries are MIT-style. The entire package is
about 7 MB but we probably only need the included "icc" directory
which is about the same size as lcms, and maybe the "imdi" library
which does some of the speed optimization.

Anyone attempting to test this, please do not download the separate
"icclib" from www.argyllcms.com . It is out of date. Get the
entire Argyllcms-1.0.1 source code instead and then extract the icc
directory from it.
I was mistaken about the imdi library licensing. It is GPLv3 not MIT.
GPLv3 won't work with tri-licensing. We'll keep working on optimizing lcms.

Right. Verifying wontfix.

I discussed this with the author of Argyllcms and he agrees that the licensing is incompatible. He is unwilling to relicense his software to make it compatible.
Testing/evaluation is still possible. Simply down-license a fork of Mozilla to GPL and then install argyllcms in the fork.
