I use Weave on three PCs. (All Windows XP running Firefox 3.0.)

When I trim web history manually on one of the PCs, either by hitting [Del] while highlighting an entry in the AwesomeBar or from the History node of the "Organize Bookmarks..." dialog, the deleted entries reappear on the other PC(s) under the circumstances listed in "Steps to reproduce".

Note that if I SKIP STEP 3 in the "Steps to Reproduce" (i.e. skip the Weave sync between browsing http://www.example.com/ and deleting the history entry), we get the desirable behaviour of not having http://www.example.com/ in the web history of either PC.

I would have expected both scenarios (with or without the sync before deletion of history entry) to have produced the same results.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure two PCs syncing against the same Weave account do NOT have http://www.example.com/ in web history.
2. On first PC, browse http://www.example.com/
3. Allow Weave to sync, or trigger a manual sync.
4. Delete the history entry http://www.example.com/
5. Allow Weave to sync, or trigger a manual sync.
6. On second PC, allow Weave to sync or trigger a manual sync.
Actual Results:  
http://www.example.com/ appears in the web history of the second PC.

Expected Results:  
http://www.example.com/ should not reappear in the web history of either PC.

Given our current sync algorithm, syncing deletes for history would be difficult and slow.

At this point, this bug is wontfix.
