Hello!

Big Problem on Business-Travels:
Our ISP (UPC) wants to authenticate by Username and Password.
In the Preferences we do it well. In LAN and in Wlan @home works all fine to get mails from POP3 at Port 25 (other Ports don't given from ISP)

If I Dialin in a WLAN of a Hotel in other Countrys - each in other Countries - i get troubbles with Thunderbird:
Password incorrect.
But with OutlookExpress there's not troubbles.

On TB I have two incomming Accounts with different Passwords for receive. But in properties i type the Username and Password explizit in fields vor authenticaton.

What's wrong with TB???

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In Outlook Express works fine without Errors
Sorry, not Port 25 of receive - Port 110 ;-)
But SMTP only Port 25 avaible - not the 5..
Hi Chris,

What version of Thunderbird are you using ?

You get issues sending emails or receiving emails ?
