Please remove pref "Play a sound when new messages arrive" from the Mail and
Newsgroups panel of the main prefs dialog.

It looks like this out of of Netscape 6 completely. But based on putterman's 
last comment, i'm not sure.  Is this out for NS6 or just PR2?
All the feature tracking/related bugs have been set to "future". I take this as
meaning the play sound feature is out for 6.0.

This bug, to remove the pref from the ui, is set to b3.

Priority 1, need to remove prefs from the UI that don't do anything

Nominated bug 36751 for nsbeta3. If that gets approved, this would be 
in invalid bug. And instead, we'd have to take care of bug 36025.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Fix in hand. Once this bug gets, nsbeta3 approval--will checkin.
