Mandriva Cooker Linux - Firefox 3.0.1 from either the Mandriva sources or the binary Linux package from getfirefox.com.
No hang on Windows XP so it might be Linux only.
Works for me, Firefox 3.0.1 on Kubuntu 8.04
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 on Debian GNU/Linux lenny/sid.
I was now able to reproduce it with a new user account running the vanilla Firefox 3.0.1 on IceWM. I'll report this bug to the Mandriva Bug-tracker. Stay Tuned.
