User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.2)
Build Identifier: 2.0.0.16

Whenever I try to browse the site https://www.artmo.com in the firefox 2.0.0.16, it gives the error
"unable to verify the identity of www.artmo.com"

and shows no certificate hierarchy, at first look it looks like the problem at the web server end but surprisingly it is working for every single browser i have tested including IE 6 & 7, Safari, Chrome, Opera and FIREFOX 3.

I have also checked with Server, no problem at all on sever side.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse to the site https://www.artmo.com

Actual Results:
everytime gives the error "Unable to verify the identity of www.artmo.com"

It works with all other browsers even firefox 3.0 but not with firefox 2.0.0.16

Expected Results:
It should succefully browse to the site over SSL without any error.

Consulted with the hosting company as well as the godaddy (certificate authority for SSL certificate installed on this domain) both reporting it as a bug in firefox 2.0.0.16
It works for me in Firefox 3 (aside from a certificate exception, but you can add an exception for that).

Please upgrade to Firefox 3 (you testified yourself that it works in that version) - it contains many fixes in this area.
yes it works for me too in firefox 3 but we cant expect all my website users to upgrade to firefox 3.0. Is there any other way except upgradation?
Summary: unable to verify the identity of domain.. (working with all other browsers) → unable to verify the identity of domain in Fx2.. (working with all other browsers)
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
Firefox2 will only get security fixes in the future, such a minor bug will not be fixed on the old 1.8 branch.

Btw: This works for me in FF2.0.16 and Seamonkey trunk without adding an exception or error message
