If you connect to the internet using good-ol fashion iwconfig (not network manager) on linux, firefox complains that you don't have internet and keeps you in offline mode. I have damn internet! There should be a way to override offline mode and force it to connect, even if it thinks there is no internet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open firefox
2. use iwconfig (not network manager) to get internet
3. wonder why it's not working (even after firefox restart)
Actual Results:
no internet

Expected Results:
internet
