I have damn internet! There should be a way to override offline mode and force it to connect, even if it thinks there is no internet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open firefox 2. use iwconfig (not network manager) to get internet 3. wonder why it's not working (even after firefox restart) Actual Results: no internet Expected Results: internet

This is a technical bug reporting database. You will not receive technical support here. Please use http://support.mozilla.com and http://support.mozilla.com/forums for end-user support. BTW, try starting Firefox in safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and create a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profile) to see if this resolves the issue.
