User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: Lightning 0.9rc2 Using Lightning 0.9rc2 under Fedora 8 with Thunderbird 2.0.0.16. When displaying the today pane with "Tasks" or "Events and Tasks", the "Show completed Tasks" checkbox is always displayed on the left of the task list. This takes the entire column of the today pane when a minimal width pane is used. This checkbox was located at the top in Lightning 0.8 -- this is a better location. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable today pane (F11) 2. Select "Tasks" at top of today pane 3. Actual Results: "Show completed tasks" checkbox is visible and the list of tasks are offscreen to the right. Expected Results: Tasks should be visible. "Show completed Tasks" checkbox should have been placed on the top or bottom of the task list.

The checkbox is in Lightning 0.8 and Lightning 0.9 at the same location. Do you use other calendar related extensions? Maybe one of them breaks Lightning 0.9. I'd recommend to check Error Console for related messages.

I don't see anything obvious in the error console. But, then again, I'm not an expert. I don't believe I have any other add-ons related to the calendar. It is possible that some other extension is interfering.

I would prefer that the "Show Completed Tasks" checkbox and label were not visible in the today pane at all. Perhaps this option could be moved to the context menu.

I'll second Pete's idea. "Show Completed Tasks" should be removed. Maybe into the proposed Today Pane Option Dialog [1]. This could fix some real estate problems mentioned in: Bug 455542. [1]https://wiki.mozilla.org/Calendar:Mail_View_Integration#Customize_Event_List

This is WFM on Windows and Linux too. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.7pre) Gecko/20100627 Lightning/1.0b2 Lanikai/3.1.1pre ID:20100627032737 It's surely related to an extension (or less to any customization on userchrome.css). Michael, please, could you confirm that using latest release of TB and Lightning (but the compatible versions, not force installation of lightning over an unsupported TB release), all is fine?
